Here at Little Flower Learning Center we have an "Open Door Policy" where we encourage the parents to be part of the children's day to day activities at the Learning Center. With this new camera system and its secure login to provide the insurance and protection for each child, now parents can be part of their children's day to day activities here at the Little Flower. Its main goal is to bring a peace of mind to parents! Little Flower Learning Center used a 256bit encryption to protect usernames and passwords.

The Blossom Cam which is named by Little Flower is live streaming video. Our system allows parents to login securely over Internet Explorer and view selected areas of the childcare center. Our system does allow video to be recorded if need be by Little Flower Learning Center. The system in which this happens is only viewed to the director of Little Flower Learning Center and the Unique Creations.

FAQ's

If I am afraid anyone can see my child at the center? Is my child safe with this camera? Here at Little Flower Learning Center your child's protection is our main goal. We have discussed the pros and cons of the system and have done everything in our power to make this system secure for only parents and staff with logins to access the system. For more information please contact the center or Unique Creations.

Are cameras in the bathrooms? No they are not. They are not in the diaper changing area either. We value the privacy of your child.

What happens if I have more than one child attending the center? You will be given one access code that will work for all your children. You will have access to each camera that your child may be viewed in.

How many passwords do I get? One password is given out for each parent and one for grandparent(s) if need be. A total of only three passwords will be given out to make sure the system is secure.

Can I give my passwords out? No, we highly recommend that you do not give out password information to anyone. The system is monitored by Unique Creations and if it is discovered that passwords are given out you may, along with everyone in your group,will lose access to the camera system permanently.

Will the fees for the learning center go up due to the new camera system? No, Little Flower Learning Center did not raise our rates. We added this system to allow the parents to be part of their children's day to day lives.

Can we hear what is going on in the classroom? No, Little Flower Learning Center does not have the sound on. The sound will be on during special activities and a note will be on the door announcing those special times.

What happens if I lose my password? That is not a problem. Please e-mail Unique Creations to gain another password by answering your two security questions that you gave to us. Remember there is a 24 hour period before you are allowed to access the cameras once you have received your new password information.

How do I know if the footage that is being recorded is not tampered by staff members? Rest assured that no footage can be tampered with. We have two secure settings set in place one being only the staff director and the owner of Unique Creations have access to the footage and its recording device. Second, the footage is watermarked for the protection of the children and the center.

The benefits of the camera system.

For mothers/fathers who have just returned to work, this may help your feeling of detachment from your child. Seeing him/her on camera can help alleviate the feelings of detachment. Some mothers/fathers may visit the daycare on their lunch break but the child may get upset at the fact you are just visiting and not taking them home. It can be upsetting for the parent, too.

If your child has just started at a new daycare, this may help alleviate the worry of how your child is coping with his/her new surroundings. It is only natural to hope they are fitting in. You are also aware of how the activities are conducted during the day.

It's a win - win for both parents and the center due to the fact this is a link to our open door policy. We have nothing to hide and we wish parents to log on and see the great care our staff provides for your child/ren.
